Which data are available inside BMS ?

The BMS (Battery Management System) is the electronic system found inside battery packs and modules. What data is available in this equipment?

Here, we will focus on the six vehicles that are statistically the most commonly found in repair or dismantling in France, due to their market launch date and production volume.

Voltage, temperature, SOC (State of Charge), SOH (State of Health), as well as statistics on battery usage, are mostly available. These data remain stored whether the battery is installed in the vehicle or the pack has been removed.

Reading this information, either statically or continuously, simplifies the management of these battery packs throughout all stages of their lifecycle.
